Michigan State Bests USC in First Round of March Madness

A streaky offense down the stretch would give the USC Trojans men’s basketball team an early exit out of March Madness. The Michigan State Spartans defeated the Trojans 72-62 in the first round of the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball Tournament.

Caleb Williams Talks Antibullying With Boys and Girls Club Kids

Heisman trophy finalist Caleb Williams recently visited the Challengers Boys and Girls Club to host an anti-bullying assembly with students. This was a kickoff event for the partnership between Williams’ foundation, Caleb Cares and the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Los Angeles (BGCMLA).

Sophomore quarterback Caleb Williams arrived at USC earlier this year with the hope to make it into a winning program.  Since then, he not only guided the Trojans into national prominence but made himself a front-runner for the 2022 Heisman Trophy.

Rival Schools Gear up for Postseason Play

Three local Pac-12 teams will be moving on to postseason competition. The UCLA women’s basketball team will compete in the WNIT as the UCLA and USC men’s teams will head to the NCAA Tournament.

USC Loses Pac-12 Championship and Opts Out Of Bowl Play

USC Trojans took a disappointing loss in the Pac-12 Championship 31-24 against the Oregon Ducks. The Trojans attempted to make a fourth-quarter comeback after being down 14, but they could not reach their goal of winning the Pac-12 for the first time since 2017, as their undefeated season came to an end.

USC Welcomes Reggie Bush Back as 10-Year Ban Expires

Former USC football star Reggie Bush was welcomed back into the Trojan family today as his 10-year, NCAA-mandated ban from the school over a recruiting scandal officially expired. 

   In a letter to Bush, USC President Carol L. Folt wrote, “I am pleased to inform you that all restrictions and prohibitions on your involvement in our athletics program are officially removed and you will be afforded the privileges and courtesies extended to all Trojan football alumni.”
