The Los Angeles Police Department’s Southwest Community Relations Division hosted its first Town Hall Meeting of the year on April 9 at the Department of Water & Power Community Room in South L.A.
At the Dallas Police Department/Korean American Safety Town Hall Meeting on Monday night, you didn’t have to speak the language to know the feelings that were dominating the room. These citizens gathered in the wake of three racially motivated shootings at Korean-owned and operated businesses and they wanted answers.

New and returning students, parents, and community members will have an opportunity to learn more about what Compton College has to offer and participate in a discussion with the Board of Trustees member. Topics to be covered during the virtual Town Hall Meeting include Compton College’s Oliver W. Conner Promise Program which provides two years of free college for eligible students;
