Due to Hurricane Dorian, Denny’s has postponed the first stop of its 2019 NCNW Hungry for Education HBCU Tour at Claflin and South Carolina State University to Oct. 12 from this Friday.
The Tom Joyner Foundation announced the launch of HBCUbiquity, a new hour-long podcast featuring interviews, discussion and analysis about historically black colleges and university, hosted by Thomas Joyner, Jr., president and CEO of the 22-year-old Foundation.
Formed by the host of the nationally syndicated Tom Joyner Morning Show, the foundation unveiled the names of the 2019 schools as part of its on-going effort to assist these institutions in broadening and strengthening their efforts to raise money to help keep students attending HBCUs.
