The Los Angeles Lakers lived by the three to defeat the Chicago Bulls 117-115. The Lakers shot 12 three-point shots to survive a battle that lasted all 48 minutes. Despite giving away 17 points in turnovers, the reigning champions made up for it by sinking 23 of 27 free throws.

Lakers Defeat Timberwolves 127-91 with a Team Effort

Although forward Anthony Davis was sidelined with a right calf contusion, the Los Angeles Lakers ousted the Minnesota Timberwolves 127-91. The game flaunted the depth and speed of the Reigning NBA champions as Los Angeles scored 20 fast break points.

STAPLES Center to Serve As General Election Vote Center

The Los Angeles Lakers, STAPLES Center, AEG and the Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk have announced that STAPLES Center will serve as a Vote Center in the upcoming Presidential General Election. Voters can cast their ballot at STAPLES Center beginning Friday, October 30 through Election Day, November 3. STAPLES Center will also act as a Vote by Mail Drop Box location for those who prefer to drop off their voted mail-in ballot in an official drop box provided by the L.A. County Registrar’s office.
