People’s Independent Church Gives Back to Community

People’s Independent Church of Christ’s (PICC) history of community service will highlight their 100th anniversary service set for Sunday, October 18, at 4 p.m. The celebration, which takes place in their edifice located at 5856 West Boulevard in Los Angeles, will feature financial donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles and the Special Needs Network, a nonprofit headed by Areva Martin that focuses on raising awareness about autism as well as people with disabilities.
