All Nine LACCD Colleges Will Serve as County Vote Centers for November 3 Presidential General Election

All nine colleges of the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) will proudly serve as multi-day Voting Centers in collaboration with the Los Angeles County Registrar of Voters for the November 3, 2020 Presidential General Election. The colleges include: East Los Angeles College; Los Angeles City College; Los Angeles Harbor College; Los Angeles Mission College; Los Angeles Pierce College; Los Angeles Southwest College; Los Angeles Trade-Technical College, Los Angeles Valley College and West Los Angeles College.

LACCD Semester Begins August 31, Open Enrollment in Full Swing

Special online open enrollment fairs hosted by the nine colleges of the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) will be held 10 a.m. to noon, Wednesday, Aug. 11, 2020.  See list below for online links per college.

LACCD BOARD APPROVES SCHEDULE CHANGES, SHIFT TO ONLINE SERVICES & ONLINE LEARNING TO HELP COMBAT SPREAD OF CORONAVIRUS COVID-19

“The situation is very fluid and may change over the coming days. These measures do not address courses and services that do not lend themselves to an online or remote learning format. There are still many outstanding questions, which we will try to address in the coming days and report on as new developments arise. I am confident that we will all be able to work together to get through the challenging days ahead,” said Angela Echeverri, District Academic Senate President.

Student Voter Registration Events Held September 25, 2018

Student organizations throughout the Los Angeles Community College District (LACCD) are organizing a variety of events at the District’s nine colleges in conjunction with National Voter Registration Day on September 25, 2018.  The district-wide student voter registration activities are also in response to a call by Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and the March for Our Lives organization to ensure young people are empowered to let their voices be heard at the ballot box.
