Homeless Donation Meters Introduced in City

The meter, which looks similar to a parking meter, but is bright orange in color and located in Grand Park away from the street, allows people to give loose change or use their credit card for donations that go to an organization which helps homeless people in Skid Row.

Harris Dawson Gets Involved in Homeless Encampment Issue

Harris-Dawson’s first motion as a councilman would instruct city staff to “take immediate steps to address and ameliorate the matter of a homeless encampment that has just sprung up” at the city lot at 86th Place and Broadway.
