DeMarcus Cousins shoves off assistant coach Jarron Collins and goes hard for the basket. He swishes a 3-pointer from up top, then hits a jumper inside the arc on the right wing. Cousins drives to the hoop and makes a shot from close range, then a turnaround jumper goes in before he moves to the left side to begin the sequence again.

Lakers Honor Late Rapper Nipsey Hussle Before Warriors Game

On Thursday night, LeBron James donning a customized Nipsey Hussle shirt ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers game against the Golden State Warriors at Staples Center. The effects of the untimely passing of Los Angeles rapper Nipsey Hussle were deeply felt by NBA players around the league, especially James who took to Instagram stating, “I hope I can make you proud down here” before Thursday’s game. 

Golden State’s Steve Kerr Fined

Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr has been fined $25,000 for verbally abusing and confronting a game official, it was announced Thursday by Kiki VanDeWeghe, Executive Vice President, Basketball Operations. The incident, for which Kerr was assessed two technical fouls and ejected, occurred with 3:54 remaining in the fourth quarter of the Warriors’ 129-107 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Feb. 13 at Moda Center. Lebron James Medical Update

LeBron James, who has been out since suffering a strained left groin on December 25 vs. Golden State, is receiving daily treatment by the team’s training and medical staff and continues to progress with his recovery. 

Los Angeles improves to 7-1 at home; Victorious over Spurs

The Los Angeles Clippers are quickly becoming one of the most underrated teams in the NBA and have now improved to 7-1 at home. Lou Williams poured in 23 points off the bench, Danilo Gallinari and Tobias Harris added 19 and 18 points respectively, to give the Clippers (9-5) a 116-111 victory over the San Antonio Spurs (7-7) Thursday night at Staples Center.

Steph Curry practices with Harlem Globetrotters

Golden State Warriors Steph Curry and Quinn Cook spent the end of practice today learning new plays with Harlem Globetrotter stars Lili “Champ” Thompson, Zeus McClurkin and Hammer Harrison.  The two teams, whose style of basketball and winning ways are often compared, showcased Curry participating in a 3-man weave and Quinn making a 4-point shot.
