“Diamonds and Pearls – A Winter Wonderland” Benefit Brunch

Dec. 3 The Pasadena-Altadena Chapter of The Links, Incorporated, in collaboration with the Pasadena Altadena Community Endowment Fund (PACEF), presents “Diamonds and Pearls – A Winter Wonderland” —benefit brunch, an afternoon of fun and entertainment, Sunday December 3, 11:00 am to 3 pm at The Imperial Palace in Pasadena, CA. The festivities kickoff at 11:00 am with a reception, followed by brunch starting at noon. Proceeds from “Diamonds and Pearls – A Winter Wonderland” will help fund a number of Links programs including: 29th Annual lsaac McClelland Memorial Scholarships for Pasadena Unified School District graduating seniors; “Links Up for Success”

Yeethoven II

Dec. 14 Beethoven + Kanye West = Yeethoven. Two eras, one radical spirit. The musical mash-up that no one expected, but critics and audiences raved about, is back, and this time it’s bicoastal. The Young Musicians Foundation (YMF) in Los Angeles will present Yeethoven II, featuring separate concerts in L.A. Turns the Tables DJ Course

Jan. 5 After the debut of Compton Turns the Tables (CTTT), a free DJ course for beginners age 15 to 21, in February 2017, LA County Library has launched a spin-off program, South Whittier Turns the Tables (SWTTT), at the South Whittier Library. In addition to South Whittier Library, the Turns the Tables series will expand to San Fernando Library—with the course beginning January 5, 2018—and then to East Los Angeles Library.
