John Singleton  will be laid to rest today in a private ceremony in Los Angeles , a rep for his family revealed. The funeral, planned as “a very small, intimate goodbye for family and very close friends.” The funeral is not open to public. Snowfall, one of the last projects John Singleton was working  will continue to live on as the FX drama’s executive producer, according to TMZ. Mayhew died at his home in north Texas on Tuesday, according to a family statement. He was 74. No cause was given. Three White students from Homewood-Flossmoor High school, just outside of Chicago, Ill, donned Blackface make-up, mocked Blacks with urban accents, made stereotypes comments regarding Black women’s bodies, and posted the video on social media.
