In Collaboration With Popular THE FLOOR Improv, “Union Station Kind of Love” Features Live Music and Dancing in Vibrant Valentine’s Celebration

Fall in love at Union Station this Valentine’s Day with a night of throwback harmony, doo-wop and soul music on Thursday, Feb. 14, at L.A.’s historic landmark. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

“Union Station Kind of Love” is a collaboration between Metro Art Presents and the popular THE FLOOR Improv. Kicking off at 8 p.m. with a 1960’s, Supremes-style dance follow-along led by the popular trio, the Velettes, the event will feature live music by the St. Jukes. Additional dance follow-alongs and social dancing will be part of the celebration.

All ages, genders and orientations are welcome. This event is intended for friends, singles and couples alike. Valentine revelers are encouraged to dress in the ‘50’s and ‘60’s styles and bring their dancing shoes.

Metro Art Presents showcases an exciting array of arts and cultural events at historic Union Station. From music and dance performances, film screenings and poetry readings to experimental and mixed-media presentations, the programs creatively activate downtown’s primary transportation hub.

Admission is free.
