Rev. Raymond L. McCullough

The Rev. Raymond L. McCullough, pastor and founder of Church of Christ 7th Day in the Crenshaw District, passed away on June 12. He was 75 years old.

A veteran broadcaster, Pastor McCullough was well known throughout the area as the founder and executive director of AAMEN Ministries. He produced a multitude of programs, including ‘Inspirational Gospel Visions,’ the longest running daily gospel music video program on cable television.  Also, his broadcast, ‘The Truth Shall Set You Free,’ aired on cable networks for nearly 20 years.

“Pastor McCullough was always humbled by his many viewers and supporters of his ministry.  He was truly a man of God, a blessing to the Christian community.

“He preached the truth, and he will be missed,” said Prince Zaire, public relations director for AAMEN Ministries.

A memorial service will be held next month.  Condolences to the family may be sent to AAMEN Ministries, 5400 South 11th Avenue, Los Angeles, California 90043, or email
