Pastor Walter Davis and the members of Rejected Stone Christian Fellowship (RSCF) will host the 4th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Community Service Award and Prayer Breakfast on Saturday, Jan. 13, at 10 a.m., on the church’s campus at 4700 S. Avalon Blvd., in Los Angeles.
The free event salutes the birthday of Dr. King and recognizes outstanding community members. This year’s honoree is Gerald Thompson, a community activist and transitional housing expert.

Also, donations for RSCF’s annual youth educational trip will be accepted during the event, said Pastor Davis. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, Davis and the Rejected Stone congregation sponsored 30-to-50 young people and guardians on 13 annual youth education trips to instructional and cultural destinations across America and Mexico.
