Crenshaw senior quarterback Donce’ Lewis helped lead the Cougars football team to the CIF City Section Championship for two consecutive seasons. During his junior year, he helped the Cougars win the City Section title.

In April 2014, The Los Angeles Public Library became the first public library in the country to start a Career Online High School for adults. Since 2014, they have graduated over 875 students, offering a less traditional way for adults to obtain their accredited high school diploma. Their most recent fall graduation ceremony was held on Oct. 20.

His attackers called him the n-word and kneeled on his neck while repeatedly, chanting the name “George Floyd.” A district-wide acknowledgment of the hate crime was not sent out until Feb. 22, of that year.
