South Los Angeles-based PVJOBS will coordinate a Community Awareness Event and Job Fair from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday August 9, 2018 at 5414 11th Avenue, Los Angeles. This is the future site of The Curve @ West Angeles, a development that will include senior housing.
The event is being held in conjunction with the R.D. Olson Construction; West Angeles Community Development Corporation; and Related California. Contractors will discuss the project as a whole, construction training programs, employment opportunities and ways the community can get involved.
“PVJOBS has been working with contractors throughout Los Angeles for more than 20 years now,” Executive Director Erik Miller said. “We’re pleased to help get the word out to the community.”
