Looking for something to satisfy your sweet tooth this holiday season? Well look no further, Harriet’s Cheesecakes located 1515 Centinela Ave Inglewood, CA 90302 has a total of 67 unlimited flavors ranging from Banana Pudding to snicker’s Cheesecakes.

However, it’s their signature Sweet Potato and Praline Cheesecakes that can’t keep the customers away.

Harriet’s Cheesecakes has been a family affair for over forty years, learning from the best, Douglas Parks has inherited his business savvy and flair for desserts from mother and owner Harriet Parks.

A veteran in the business, they provide a service that is needed for the community, “My mother is real big on providing the best of everything,” said Douglas.

With the success of their business, Harriet’s Cheesecakes are planning to expand into a franchise and mail order.

Giving their best has allowed them to stand out among some of Los Angeles’s top bakeries. Parks adds, “We don’t take any shortcuts, everything we do is top shelf and quality product, somewhat of an original product and not too many people do what we do with that many flavors of cheesecake. What we do is the real thing.”

Harriet’s Cheesecake did a cooking special on Food Network TV show “The Best Thing I Ever Ate,” where they featured their Sweet Potato cheesecake and the phone is continuing to ring off the hook, according to Douglas, “they always call wanting to do another show featuring the Praline.”

Their bakery is in demand all year around, but on holidays, it is a special time.  “Customers come year round, but anytime people are getting together to eat or any type of holiday, those are our best times and now is the most festive eating time, which is Thanksgiving.”

“Whether it is a celebration or just a time to eat, it’s our time” Douglas states.

Their special additions for the holidays include their eggnog flavored cheesecake. “Our eggnog is made from scratch.” A cranberry flavored cheesecake is made for the holiday season.

Classics such as Sweet Potato and Pumpkin cheesecake are always a staple for Turkey day.

However, if these flavors will not due, you can try a Bailey’s, German Chocolate, Key Lime, Cookies n’ Cream, Pineapple or Banana Strawberry cheesecake for variety.

Douglas feels every customer has their personal flavor, “I like Apple Spice and my mother likes White Chocolate Raspberry.”
