Chargers Sign LS Matt Overton

The Los Angeles Chargers signed LS Matt Overton, the organization announced on Friday. In a corresponding move, DT Cortez Broughton has been placed on the non-football illness list. 

Overton joins the Chargers as an eighth-year player out of Western Washington. The 6-1 long snapper has played in 100 career games with Indianapolis and Jacksonville, appearing in all 16 games in each season since 2012 except for 2017. Overton was named to the Pro Bowl with Indianapolis in 2013.
