Los Angeles Chargers Sign Matt Overton

The Los Angeles Chargers today signed long snapper Matt Overton. Overton, who also spent time with the Bolts in 2019, has played in 109 career games with Indianapolis, Jacksonville and Tennessee. He appeared in nine games with the Titans last season and saw action in all 16 games each year from 2012 to 2016. Overton was named to the Pro Bowl with Indianapolis following the 2013 season.

Chargers Promote G Spencer Drango to Active Roster

The Los Angeles Chargers promoted G Spencer Drango to the active roster, the organization announced on Monday. In a corresponding move, LS Matt Overton was waived. Drango was added to the Chargers practice squad from the Cleveland Browns on Sept. 18, 2018. He played in 32 games and made 19 starts in two seasons for the Browns.
