Caltrans’ local district office will hold a career fair Wednesday in downtown Los Angeles in hopes of filling current and future positions. The event by Caltrans District 7 will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the plaza in front of the Caltrans building at 100 S. Main Street.
Caltrans officials said the fair will offer information about benefits offered by the agency, including health insurance, sick and vacation leave and retirement plans. Applications will also be accepted for about two dozen immediately available positions in engineering, maintenance, heavy equipment operators, legal support and administration. Caltrans officials said more positions will open in the coming months.
