Christian Women in Action presents their Annual Fellowship Celebration at Greater Westside Missionary Baptist Church, 11121 S. Western Ave., in Los Angeles, said Pastor Adrian Caesar. The theme is “Let God Loose the Shackles and Set You Free” based on John 8:36. The conference opens on Sept. 7, at 7 p.m., with testimony and prayer. On Sept. 8, at 6:30 p.m., a formal black tie celebration is set. The grand finale takes place on Sept. 9, at 4 p.m., with preaching by five women of God. To learn more, call (323) 757-0126.

Brookins-Kirkland Community AME Church sponsors a revival on Sept. 19-21, at 7 p.m., at 3719 W. Slauson Ave., in Los Angeles, said Pastor Mary S. Minor. The revivalists are Pastor Sonja R. Dawson of New Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Pastor Darryl Walker of New Philadelphia AME Church and Pastor Roderick Walker of Tabernacle of Praise Baptist Church. The public is invited to attend. Pilgrim’s Hope Bible Church plans the 55th Annual Women’s Day Service on Sept. 23, at 7016 S. Compton Ave., in Los Angeles, said Pastor T. Delbert Robinson. The L.O.V.E. (Ladies of Virtuous Essence) Ministry sponsors the event. The theme is “Kingdom Women Reformed to Stand Straight” based on Luke 13:11-13. The Word-Up School of Ministry takes place at 8 a.m., followed by the worship service at 10 a.m. Pastor Debra B. Morton of the Greater St. Stephens Full Gospel Church in New Orleans will preach. Francine Atlas is the director of the L.O.V.E. Ministry.

Holman United Methodist Church hosts the Rev. Dr. Cynthia A. Wilson in concert on Sept. 23, at 4 p.m., at 3320 W. Adams Blvd., in Los Angeles. The donation is $25. All proceeds will benefit the Bishop Charles Wesley Jordan Scholarship at Claremont School of Theology.
