Brookins-Kirkland Community AME Church observes Mother’s Day on May 9, at 9 a.m., during its virtual Sunday worship service, said Pastor Mary S. Minor. A special sermon and musical selections will be shared. Also, Lamar Stuart will deliver a special tribute in honor of all mothers and those who act as a mother to others.
