Bethel Missionary Baptist Church will present two community events during the Mother’s Day weekend at its edifice located at 10905 South Compton Avenue in Los Angeles.

“We will have a ‘Mother/Daughter Luncheon’ on Saturday, May 12, beginning at 11 a.m., here in the Juanita Pope Fellowship Hall,” said the Rev. Dr. Reginald A. Pope, senior pastor.

“The program, led by Sister Stella Martin, will concentrate on Mother/Daughter Relationships and the Mother Mentoring Process.”

The celebration continues on Mother’s Day, May 13, as the Men of Bethel prepare a full breakfast for mothers at 9:15 a.m. in the Fellowship Hall. At the 11 a.m. worship, Pastor Pope will deliver a message from the mother’s perspective.
