“The new SoLa Tech & Entertainment Center is an investment in a neighborhood that has long created entertainment and tech professionals without ever having any previous investments from the entertainment industry. I’m excited to break ground on this project,” said Harris-Dawson, who represents the Eighth District.
The Councilmember capitalized on SoLa Impact’s goal of increasing access to education and opportunity — one of the core values of Martin Muoto, founder and CEO of SoLa Impact.
Muoto added,”We are excited to announce the collaboration between SoLa Impact, Live Nation Entertainment, and Councilman Marqueece Harris-Dawson in establishing the new Tech & Entertainment Center.
“This initiative is more than a construction project; it’s a gateway to opportunity for our community’s Black and Brown youth. By providing access to vital skills and experiences, we will open doors to flourishing careers in tech, entertainment, and the creative and digital economies in Los Angeles and beyond.”
