Scripture: Galatians 5:16-25 – “This I say then, walk in the Spirit and ye shall not fulfill the lusts of the flesh.”

For too many believers, life as a Christian boils down to simply doing the best that one can, and summed up into 2 statements of “nobody is perfect” and “God understands”.

This attitude negates the divine ability to function as God has intended for you to function. Knowing the Biblical basis of our invincible position will enable us to survive the assaults of the enemy.

Victory over the flesh, the world and the devil is all provided in the Word of God. Accessing and activating the Word is our responsibility and lets us know that we are more than conquerors through Him who loves us. (Romans 8:37)   Recognizing and accessing the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit has much to do with the success of our Christian walk.

When walking in the Spirit, we are clothed by faith in the protection of Jesus as we are aware of the presence of God between us and the enemy. God did not give us the spirit of fear, but the power of love and a sound mind.

I say to you today, position your condition, discover your purpose, activate your promise and receive your provision made personal through a relationship in God. As we walk in the Spirit, we order the manner of our life and behavior in conformity with the Holy Spirit who bears evidence of Christ in our lives.

Walking in the Spirit is a personal experience emanating from having a personal relationship with, for and in God. Joy, Peace, Patience/long-suffering, Gentleness, Goodness, Faith, Meekness, Temperance & Self-control are Godly characteristics purposed, promised and provided by the Holy Spirit to position our condition as we make Christ the Lord of our lives.

Position your condition to become consistent and persistent that you may be resistant to the signals of sin. The Promise of the Holy Spirit is to keep us beyond our own endurance, and the power in the fruit of the Spirit is the ability to walk in righteousness, so much so that even if you stumble or fall, you have the grace available to rise again by the Spirit of God moving in you.

Position your condition with the fruit of Prayer. Prayer is the key to enlightenment, enrichment and enablement. Impossible fortresses crumble under the divine power of fervent prayer. Prayer in everything is our 1st choice and not our last chance.

Be consistent, persistent and resilient in prayer. Pray without ceasing. Send it up and let God show up.   Pray until something happens. Prayer plus Praise with Practice equals Power that will give you Peace that will lead to Prosperity.

Don’t get weary walking in the Spirit. Look to Jesus and you can make it.

Jesus knew who He was and “whose” He was. He didn’t allow others who doubted Him to block Him from His divine destiny. His character was not determined by His religious denomination or persuasion.

He didn’t substitute personality for Spirituality. He ate with sinners, walked among hypocrites and died between two thieves. He gave all that He had, that we may receive all that God has to give.

Thanks be to God for the power of His Holy Spirit within us that keeps us, moves us and will one day raise us to the glory and honor of God.

Walk in the Spirit of God’s purpose, promise and provision because it is only in the spirit, that you can make it.
