Dr. Jeanette Parker

Quoting my recent article, “The Bloodstream of Our Nation part 2” states, “Don’t forget drugs flowing in and out of shipyards & airplanes. Is it Commercial Babylon? Huh? Violence is another bloodstream problem. Folks killing other folks and their own relatives too!” (www.Askdrjeanetteparker.com) I can’t help myself. I must write about the other coming catastrophes and cataclysmic occurrences as expounded in the Bible: Revelation and Matthew. Both spotlight coming wrath: the opening of the second seal: “people killing one another” and the opening of the sixth seal: “earthquakes, cosmic disturbances.” Although, most likely to occur a long time away; no one knows when, things much worse. The passages address futuristic events foreshadowing the second coming of Jesus Christ. Don’t wait. Get to safety now! Let’s get smart, folks. Be prepared! Seriously think about joining the party of “believers.” Be alert! Give serious consideration those who don’t know about Jesus! Look around. No amount of wealth, position, law or legislation will be able to save you. To some this sounds strange and unbelievable. Don’t worry. Don’t be troubled. Accept the alternative. There’s safety in the Lord. We see the volumes of people being shot, some using high powered weapons, killed in high numbers in school shootings, theatres, shopping malls, on the streets. “Stanford Libraries define Mass shootings: The definition of mass shooting used for the Stanford database is three or more shooting victims (not necessarily fatalities), not including the shooter. The shooting must not be identifiably gang, drug, or organized crime related.” “A mass shooting is an incident involving multiple victims of firearm-related violence. There is no widely accepted definition of the term “mass shooting,” although it is normally understood to exclude mass killings as a result of terrorist, authorized law enforcement or authorized military actions.[1] The United States’ Congressional Research Service acknowledges that there is not a broadly accepted definition and defines a “public mass shooting”[2] as an event where someone selects four or more people and kills them in an indiscriminate manner, echoing the FBI’s definition of the term “mass murder.”[3] One definition (no broadly accepted definition) is an act of public firearm violence—excluding gang killings, domestic violence, or terrorist acts sponsored by an organization—in which a shooter kills at least four victims. Using this definition, one study found that nearly one-third of the world’s public mass shootings between 1966 and 2012 (90 of 292 incidents) occurred in the United States.” “The number of firearms available to American civilians is estimated at more than 393 million, according to a 2018 Switzerland-based Small Arms Survey (SAS) report. India is home to the second-largest civilian firearm stockpile, estimated at 71.1 million. Of the estimated 857 million guns owned worldwide, the US owns estimated 46 percent. By Kara Fox, CNN.
