In the beginning, jealousy played a major and irreversible role in where we are today. My thinking is that when God decided to create male and female, the adversary lost position. And when he fell, he determined that “I’m going to break up this whole universe and give God as many problems as possibly can.”
Being unsuccessful at doing that, he attempted to dismantle the entire angelic hierarchy. His goal was to tear down God himself and make his pride rise above God. He could not do that then; nor can he do that now. He was angry then and now, he is even more angry.
But you need not worry, because he’s “going down.” If you watch the news and the newspapers and other publications. He has tried his tricks of deception, lying and perversion even to make people see themselves as monsters and forget all about when God created them, He did it out of love.
His deception tactics are clearly seen if you are observant and if you have the mind of Christ to discern and see what is happening all around us. God foretold through His prophets what had happened and what was to come.
We talked about that in another article. We talked about sifting, shifting and purging this universe. God has been known by many names and Jehovah titles – El (the Almighty, He is God the Omnipotent, ELOAH is God who wills and orders all; EL is the God who knows all and that performs all things and in whom, all the Divine attributes are concentrated, JAH is Jehovah in a special sense as having BECOME our salvation; HE who is and WAS, and IS TO COME, ELOAH is Elohim. He has many JEHOVAH titles.
You can see Him in His majesty. He is in His glory enthroned on the right hand of the Father. We now see Jesus crowned in glory and majesty – “The Son of God.” You can’t get any better than that, nor can you get higher than He is.
He is Creator, the Creator. None other. In creation, He had no partner. He had no one to help Him. He didn’t hire a contractor or a sub-contractor.
Why am I saying all these things? James Brown, the famous blues, rock and roll singer said it this way, “This is a man’s world. But it wouldn’t be nothin’ without a woman or a girl.” You ask, is that true?
This world belongs to God Almighty. He is sovereign. What He says goes. When He says, “Jump,” just ask, “How high, Lord?” Funny how you can find wisdom in unexpected places. Unfortunately, man has lost some of his dominion because of his disobedience. Eve participated in bringing down Adam and the whole universe. But wait a minute! All is not lost! Jesus Christ came! And He is coming back!
He has reversed the curse. Jesus freed us from the curse. Remember “He killed death!” Wow!! Now we can repent and be showered in His grace. Isn’t that wonderful?! Of course, it is. You don’t have to be despondent, confused. He is the real deal.
So, what is this “great divide?” He will separate the unbelievers and the believers. Upon His return, there will be a decisive division of those who have kept His word and those who have not.
At His expected arrival, (although His second coming is expected, but the day or the hour is unknown.) What’s going to happen? He will be coming without delay! His return will divide even the most intimate relationships.
Two persons can be together and one only will be taken. Even female coworkers who have worked together many years and only one will be taken.
He will judge those who He tells to stand on His left most harshly, for they have failed the test and are still failing the test. They will wonder where did they fail? However, you can plan for His return because He has left us direct guidance of what to do to ensure we will be ready.
Our lamps will be burning bright. We will have lived up to His expectations. He will say when he gathers the nations to those on his right hand, “The King will say, ‘O come those blessed of my Father stand on my right hand. I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty and you gave me drink. I was a stranger and you welcomed me. You visited me when I was sick. You visited me. Come and enjoy the blessings I have prepared for you even before the foundation of the world.”
(This will be the great divide). They wondered when did all this happen? That’s how things are. You are doing things and doing kind acts and it’s natural to you and not always taking accountability for every little thing you do. Sounds like a lot of volunteer work.
Again, I say, don’t worry. All He wants you to do is accept Him as your Lord and Savior (Romans 10) Confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that He is who He says He is.
Your beautiful, spacious mansion is already decorated and ready for you to move in. Be steadfast, immovable always abounding in the work of the Lord. Thanks for reading!
