The Crenshaw Cougars will face the Dorsey Dons in the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. in the Second Annual Coliseum Gridiron Classic. For decades, this rivalry remains prominent throughout the South Los Angeles community.

Both high schools have a 4-3 overall record. The Dons come into the rivalry game off a 21-24 loss from the undefeated Hawkins High School. Senior Jerman Gotoy made 6 passes for 133 yards and scored two touchdowns in the match up.

Crenshaw comes off a two-game winning streak, shutting out the Locke Saints 35-0 last Friday. The cougars have not yet lost a Coliseum League game, but lost to the Dons in a 34-35 contest last season.

Both teams have five City Section Championship titles each. Last season, Dorsey had an overall record of 7-6; the Dons lost to the Narbonne Gauchos 0-42 in the City Section Semifinals. Crenshaw finished the 2015 season with a 9-5 record, but also lost to Narbonne 21-57 in the City Section title game.

The Crenshaw/Dorsey rivalry game will be broadcasted live on channel 84, the Spectrum Community channel, at 10 A.M.
