Rival Schools Gear up for Postseason Play

While the UCLA women’s basketball team struggled with injuries, their underclassmen players have been stepping up to battle against a highly competitive Pac-12 conference.
UCLA gets another big win. They are now 2-0 after beating CSUN 73-46. After struggling in the first quarter, the Lady Bruins outscored CSUN 60-29 for the remainder of the game.
UCLA took a disappointing, heartbreaking loss in the PAC-12 Championship. Stanford’s hot shooting was too much for the lady Bruins. The Cardinal’s offensive power got going early, and they never looked back.
The Lady Bruins took over in the fourth quarter and dominated Washington 58-46. UCLA shot 45% from the field and 2-18 from the 3-point line.
UCLA shot a disappointing 28 percent from the field dropping a close game to the determined Oregon State Beavers 71-64.
The Bruins led for two seconds and that was all that was needed to take down the Sun Devils 80-79.
Southern California sophomore guard Ethan Anderson tallied a career-high 19 points as the Trojans made a statement while clamping down one of the top teams in the Pac-12 conference.

After losing their first game of the season UCLA won their fourth straight game improving to 4-1 on the season in a convincing 27 point 83-56 victory over the University of San Diego.
Due to the coronavirus, this is the earliest point in any season schedule in which the Bruins have played a league game in the modern era.
The UCLA men’s and women’s basketball teams are full of familiar faces along with talented new additions that will make them competitive in the Pac-12.
