Marjorie Laverne Cash Passes at 80

Marjorie Laverne Cash, a longtime resident of greater Los Angeles, passed away on Nov. 23. She was 80 years old. “It was very appropriate that God took her back on Thanksgiving night. Mama always had an attitude of gratitude,” noted her daughter, the Rev. Joyce L. Randall. A celebration of Marjorie’s life is set for Friday, Dec. 8, at 11 a.m., at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church, 1720 Walnut Ave, in La Puente. The visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. A native of Memphis, Tennessee, Marjorie was born on April 1, 1937 to Colonial Wells and
