St. Luke’s Task Force Plans Street Health Fair

St. Luke’s Task Force, the Health Ministry of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, will present its 1st Street Health Fair on Saturday, Sept. 16, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event will take place at Warren Chapel CME Church, 1039 Elberon Ave., in San Pedro. The Rev. Adam Stevenson is the host pastor. Curry Temple honors Pastor Willie McDaniel

The members of Curry Temple C.M.E. Church will salute their pastor, the Rev. Willie L. McDaniel, on his second anniversary as their spiritual leader. The tribute begins on Friday, June 26, at 7:30 p.m., in the edifice located at 322 West Rosecrans Avenue in Compton. The guests will be Pastor Adam Stevenson and Warren Chapel of C.M.E. Church. Also, the choirs from Crossroads United Methodist Church and First United Methodist Church of Compton will perform. On Sunday, June 28, at 3 p.m., the celebration will conclude with Bishop Raymond A.
