The children are in the station wagon, jumping up and down, screaming with joy. Mom and Dad are happy too. They’re going to “Happy Land.” Don’t you want to go, too?

Yes, of course! How long will it take, and when will we get there? No worries—we’re on our way.

No more gangbanging, killing or stealing. There will be bright lights, great music, graceful dancing, horns blowing, drums playing, harmonicas, harps, guitars and all kinds of fun! A once-in-a-lifetime experience. Come on—go with us!

Not only that, we can walk on water and fly high in the sky like birds, too! Who will we meet?

Will I meet Him—begotten before the world, born into the world? Is it Elohim, taking creature form in order to create, as He later took on human flesh to redeem? In Him, creation and redemption are combined—see Revelation 4:11 and 5:2. Man was created in His likeness, and the form in which He appeared to the patriarchs and to Joshua (Joshua 5:13) was not temporary or assumed for the moment—it was permanent (see Proverbs 8:22).

Will I meet Wisdom Himself—wisdom personified? The Creator from the beginning, and beside Him, nothing was made. Without Him, nothing was created. All things were made by Him, and by Him, all things consist and are held together.

When He walked on water and the disciples were afraid, He turned their fear into faith. He acted in accordance with His eternal existence, identifying Himself to them by saying, “It is I. Do not be afraid.”

That’s His message today—the same as yesterday—when He spoke to those who brought Him the paralyzed man: “Son, be of good cheer. Your sins are forgiven you. Arise. Get up from your bed. Get up and walk. Go to your house.”

And to the woman with the issue of blood, He said, “Daughter, be of good comfort. Your faith has made you whole—free of this plague.”

To the blind men, Jesus asked, “Do you believe I am able to heal you?” They said, “Yes, Lord.” He touched their eyes and said, “According to your faith, be it unto you.” And their eyes were opened (Matthew chapters 8 and 9).

Jesus didn’t slow down to converse with those He healed. He went on teaching and healing wherever He went. People looked to Him, and they were healed according to their faith. He knew He was on a divinely timed mission, fulfilling God’s predetermined plan.

He spoke to His mother lovingly: “What have I to do with you? My hour is not yet come” (John 2:4). To His brothers, He said, “My time has not yet come.” So we ask ourselves today, “Is His time now—or yet to come?”

They sought to take Him, but no one laid hands on Him, because His hour had not yet come. Many believed in Him and said, “When Christ comes, will He do more miracles than these which this man has done?” (John 7:30).

Because of His miracles, His foreknowledge, and the authority and power with which He spoke, they still would not accept Him. Instead, they chose to reject Him. Therefore, the kingdom remained suspended—because of their lack of faith and their unbelief.

This explains why we’re in the predicament we’re in today. The world is burdened with sin and unbelief. So I ask: Which side have you taken—or will you take?

He said, “Few will be saved.” Don’t be late. Don’t wait until the door is shut.

Be of good cheer. We see the signs being fulfilled in our time: storms, floods, fires from heaven; failure to recognize truth; strange sights in the sky; earthquakes; planes crashing; and more daily events. Some are even seeking to change the times and the seasons, including daylight saving time. Others aim to use clouds as weapons of war. Still others are changing boys to girls and girls to boys.

Be of good cheer—He will return at an unannounced time. The day and hour will not be revealed. But beforehand, we will see strange occurrences.

Be of good cheer.
