Lewis Metropolitan CME Church will observe 75 years of Christian and community service on Sunday, January 23, at 10:30 a.m., at 4900 S. Western Avenue in Los Angeles, said Pastor Travis Morris.

Praises and thanks to God will highlight the observance of Lewis Metropolitan CME Church’s 73rd anniversary on Sunday, Jan. 26, at 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. The theme is “Growing Stronger, Growing Deeper, and Reaching Higher,” based on Isaiah 40:30, and the greater L.A. community is welcome to attend, said Pastor Travis A. Morris. “We are inviting everyone to join in this spiritually blessed day of thanksgiving as we pray that God will continue to dwell in our hearts, mind and spirit through faith that is rooted and grounded in love,” explained Morris, who will preach at the morning worship.
