Lawndale sophomore Kalani Pearson has helped the girl’s basketball team to a 20-8 overall record and a 9-1 Ocean League record. She has been playing on the varsity level since her freshman year.
Elijah Anderson used his talent in basketball to earn an opportunity to compete at the college level. The recent alum of Inglewood high school now attends Philander Smith College in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Youth was an important factor for the Harbor Teacher High School Monarchs Cross Country team for the 2015-2016 season. This season was Head Coach Fatima Iqbal-Zubair’s first season leading Cross Country at Harbor Teacher.
