The Los Angeles City Council unanimously approved Councilwoman Heather Hutt’s motion to designate St. Elmo Village as a Historic-Cultural Monument on Tuesday, Jan. 7.
In conjunction with and support of Monumental Los Angeles April 29th-May 4th, 2022, Twinbiz is proud to announce that the Department of Cultural Affairs’ Leimert Park Cultural Hub will commission a total of six playwrights, actors, or spoken word artists to create and perform original or historical works in theatrical observance of the 30th anniversary of the LA Civil Uprising.
