Over 100-Year-Old Iconic Landmark at Inglewood Park Cemetery Re-Opens

After six years of major renovations and seismic retrofitting, the iconic landmark at Inglewood Park Cemetery, Grace Chapel was re-opened on Monday. The historic Grace Chapel was built in the early days of the cemetery. Its completion was announced in the Los Angeles Daily Times on Oct. 30, 1907 and reported to be a ¾ replica of a church in Edinburgh, Scotland.

WHAT:            U.S.VETS celebrates its 25th Anniversary at its first veteran’s facility in Inglewood. Highlighting the Memorial Day event will be the renaming of U.S.VETS LA to U.S.VETS INGLEWOOD.   Celebrating 25 years of service in the Inglewood Neighborhood of Los Angeles, the Memorial Day / Weekend event will host political dignitaries and special guests. Highlights for the event will also include commemorative ceremony honor Veterans, a community resource fair (open to the public), live music and color-guard ceremony along with a reception honoring the veteran residents of U.S.VETS Inglewood and its community and neighborhood.   WHO:              Stephen J.
