Smooth Jazz Returns to Hollywood Bowl with Dave Koz, Maysa, and Jeffrey Osborne to Perform

When you hear the words Smooth Jazz, an image that should come to mind is that of the incredibly gifted saxophonist, eight-time Grammy-nominated artist Dave Koz. He is smooth jazz personified. Koz first appeared at the Hollywood Bowl in 2009, making this summer his 14th year headlining the Smooth Jazz concert or at it was once called JVC Jazz (raise your hands if you remember that name). The Bowl calls this night of smooth jazz their “annual mini-festival dedicated to the smoothest sounds around,” and it’s true. Kool and the Gang Celebrates 60 Years in Music

Oh…what a night! This line from the Kool & the Gang’s 1979 hit “Ladies Night” perfectly describes their show at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday and Saturday. A Bowl fan favorite, and for a good reason, this Grammy award-winning band knows how to get the party started, and their musicianship is tremendously strong and still incredibly cool (pun intended) are celebrating 60 years in music.

Andrew Gouché – Godfather of Gospel Bass – to Perform at the Hollywood Bowl

Andrew Gouché is widely recognized and known as the “Godfather of Gospel Bass.” It’s a label he doesn’t shy away from and wears exceptionally well.  Gouché and his gospel group, the Prayze Connection, are set to bring the church to the Hollywood Bowl stage during the 2023 Jazz Festival, a homecoming weekend like no other.

Going to an indoor bar or nightclub in Los Angeles County will soon require proof of COVID-19 vaccination, while attending a theme park or large outdoor event with 10,000 people or more will require vaccination or a negative COVID test, the county’s public health director announced today.
