The annual events helps to prevent dumping and promotes a cleaner and healthier neighborhood. On Saturday, March 23, the 7th Annual Community Recycling/Clean Up returns offering the community a place to dispose of their waste in time for Spring.

Mar. 25 There will be a FREE Household Hazardous Waste and E-Waste Recycling Roundup in Lynwood on Saturday, March 25, 2017 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the intersection of Butler Avenue and Bellinger Street in Lynwood. Residents can safely dispose of household hazardous waste such as antifreeze, unused pharmaceuticals, car batteries, used motor oil, paint, pesticides, home-generated sharps waste such as hypodermic needles, pen needles, syringes, lancets, and intravenous needles, universal waste including household batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, and electronic waste (e-waste) such as TVs and monitors, computers, VCRs, stereos, and cell phones.
