The Lo Down on Lakers’ Media Day

The reinvented Los Angeles Lakers held Media Day at the UCLA Health Training Facility on Friday with the return of some familiar faces and a plethora of new ones. Two of the most recognizable faces were LeBron James, who returned for his second season in the purple and gold, and Anthony Davis, who was acquired in a blockbuster summer trade that sent the former Lakers’ young core to New Orleans.

EL SEGUNDO – The Los Angeles Lakers have signed Quinn Cook, DeMarcus Cousins and Danny Green, it was announced today by General Manager Rob Pelinka. Per team policy, terms of the deals were not released. Cook owns career averages of 7.4 points (.418 3P%), 2.0 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 121 games (28 starts) for the Mavericks, Pelicans and Warriors, and was a member of the 2018 Warriors championship team. DeMarcus Cousins to get his first playoff chance at last

DeMarcus Cousins shoves off assistant coach Jarron Collins and goes hard for the basket. He swishes a 3-pointer from up top, then hits a jumper inside the arc on the right wing. Cousins drives to the hoop and makes a shot from close range, then a turnaround jumper goes in before he moves to the left side to begin the sequence again.
