LMU Names Robbie Williams Chief of Public Safety

Loyola Marymount University has named Robbie Williams as chief of Public Safety to lead a multifaceted, 24/7/365 operation, that includes patrols, investigations, and dispatch. Chief Williams will be responsible for the physical safety and security of LMU’s campuses, students, employees, and visitors.

Activists Call for End of LAPD Cadet Program

A group of activists called Tuesday for an end to the Los Angeles Police Department’s cadet program in the wake of the arrest of an officer who allegedly had sex with a 15-year-old female cadet who’s accused of being involved in the theft of three squad cars.
