Trinity Holds 13th Blanket Drive for Homeless

In keeping with the season of giving, Trinity Baptist Church will present two community events to help people enjoy the holidays. The first program is a Christmas concert entitled, “O Holy Night,” set for Sunday, Dec. 15, at 3:30 p.m., in the edifice at 2040 W. Jefferson Blvd., in Los Angeles. For the 11th consecutive year, the Homeless Ministry of Trinity Baptist Church conducted a successful Blanket Drive to aid homeless men, women and children living on L.A.’s skid row. According to Pastor Alvin Tunstill, Jr., and homeless activist Brian Ferguson, Trinity congregants and community members donated more than 400 new blankets and pillows during the annual event held on Dec. 15.
