Arizona State junior quarterback Jayden Daniels lets his talent and effort on the football field speak for itself. During his three seasons, he completed 6025 passing yards and committed 32 touchdown throws. He also showed his athleticism through his 1288 rushing yards and 13 rushing touchdowns.

Student Athlete of the Week: Chase Lucas

Arizona State grad student defensive back Chase Lucas is the captain of the Sun Devils football team this season. His efforts as a leader and a competitor helped Arizona State come in third in the Pac-12 with an 8-4 overall record and a 6-3 league record.

The hard work that linebacker Troy Dye put in during the season paid off for the Oregon Ducks on Friday in their 37-15 upset of the No. 5 Utah Running Utes in the Pac-12 Championship. The Ducks will battle the Wisconsin Badgers in the Rose Bowl on New Year’s Day. While having a cast on to protect his injured right thumb, he made one interception, eight total tackles and 1.0 tackles for loss for six yards.
