Maurice White, Founder of Earth, Wind & Fire Dies at 74

Maurice White, prolific songwriter, composer, producer, arranger, leader, and co-founder of one of most the successful bands in the world died on Thursday, February 4, 2016 at his home in Los Angeles. The cause of his death is unknown but it is known that White had battled Parkinson disease for two decades. He was 74.

Natalie Cole: Still Unforgettable

Natalie Cole was an accomplished product of her deep-rooted musical heritage. A chart topping R&B crooner in the 70s, Cole went on to even greater popularity and accolade with her smooth transition to jazz and pop music standards-successfully reinterpreting American classics and singing the tunes that once made her father an international recording star.

STARQUEST: BE THE NEXT STAR!!!

StarQuest Auditions are set to kickoff at the Baldwin Hills Crenshaw Plaza on the Macy’s Bridge Saturday, Sept. 26, from 10am-6pm and Sunday, Sept. 27, from 1pm-5pm. The local contest turns four this year and continues to be a hub of talent for the South L.A. area. Finalists who make it past the initial auditions go on to perform on the TOS StarQuest Stage and perform for TOS Nation, which stands now over 350,000 people.
