CMEs Hold Southern California Region Mid-Winter Council

Bishop Bobby R. Best, presiding prelate of the CME Ninth Episcopal District, will convene the Southern California Region Mid-Winter Council on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Phillip’s Temple CME Church, 973 E. 43rd St. in Los Angeles. CME SoCal Region Holds 33rd Annual Conference

The Christian Methodist Episcopal Church recently held its 33rd Southern California Annual Conference at Phillips Temple C.M.E. Church in Los Angeles. The theme was “The Investment Factor: Expressing God’s Love through Missions and Outreach!” Bishop Bobby R. Best, presiding prelate of the Ninth Episcopal District, requested Bishop Teresa Jefferson-Snorton, presiding prelate of the Fifth Episcopal District, to oversee the proceedings in his absence. Other leaders included the Rev. Travis A. Morris, host presiding elder of the Los Angeles-San Diego District; the Rev. Mark A. Hardin, presiding elder of the Los Angeles District; and the Rev. Bernard M. Jackson, host pastor.

CMEs Plan Spring Convocation and Quadrennial Celebration

The Southern California Region of the CME Church will open their Spring Convocation and Quadrennial Celebration on Friday, April 13, at Lewis Metropolitan CME Church, 4900 S. Bishop Best Convenes 2017 Mid-Winter Council

Bishop Bobby R. Best, presiding prelate of the Ninth Episcopal District of the C.M.E. Church, will convene the Mid-Winter Council of the Northern California (NCR) and Southern California Regions of the CME Church (SCR) on Friday Dec. 1, through Sat. Dec. 2. Bishop Best Appoints CME Pastors for 2017-18

Bishop Bobby Best, presiding prelate of the Ninth Episcopal District of the Christian Methodist Episcopal Church, recently announced the pastoral appointments for the Southern California Region (SCR).
