Isaac Jean-Paul has his hopes set on winning gold in the 2024 Paris Paralympics. The Paralympic bronze medalist has been on a historic run since he began competing in adaptive sports in 2017.
Angel City Sports hosted its 10th Annual Angel City Games at Cerritos College from June 28-30. The three-day festival featured clinics and competitions for 18 different adaptive sports, including goal ball, blind soccer, para golf, and powerlifting.
In its ninth year, USC will host the Angel City Games from June 29 to July 2. The Games will consist of several events along with adaptive sports clinics and competitions.
The 2022 LA84 Foundation Play Equity Summit touched upon several different topics including, social justice, Title IX, and mental health. The theme this year was ‘Elevate Play in a Post-COVID World.’
The 2022 Angel City Games presented by The Hartford offered 16 adaptive sports for athletes to compete in. The Games presented by The Harford moved to Cerritos College and continued to promote competition and camaraderie among adaptive athletes.
Angel City Sports will be hosting the Firecracker Fund Paralympic Sports Day on April 23 from 2:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. at the Terasaki Budokan in the Little Tokyo district.
The 2021 Angel City Games Presented by The Hartford came in time for the holidays at Los Angeles High School instead of UCLA. Despite the change of date and venue, the Angel City Games had the same level of competition, camaraderie, and discovery as it had in previous years.
The Los Angeles Super Bowl Host Committee continues to assist marginalized communities by granting six organizations $50,000 each. The organizations are a part of the 56 Champions of the Super Bowl LVI Legacy Program.
Angel City Sports is providing resources to athletes who are competing in the Tokyo Paralympic Games or the adapted sports National Championships.
The second installment of the 2020 Angel City Virtual Games will be on August 3-9. The event is open to differently abled athletes as well as allies, care-givers, and family members of the athletes. Angel City Sports gives its participants a sense of community through sports, this can play an important factor in an individual’s life.
Angel City Sports recently hosted their fifth annual Angel City Games presented by the Hartford. The weekend-long event allows people with different abilities to learn and compete in various adaptive sports. Angel City Games presented by the Hartford has expanded in its offerings and popularity since its inaugural year.
The event brought out long -time supporters as well as people who are new to the Angel City community.
