The California Legislative Black Caucus (CLBC) added another member to its roster last week. Former Suisun City Mayor Lori D. Wilson, a Democrat, was sworn into office April 6 to represent the 11th Assembly District.
Lawndale Mayor Robert Pullen-Miles will face fellow Democrat Tina Simon McKinnor in a runoff June 7th to fill the vacant 62nd Assembly District seat.
Nonprofit director and businesswoman Tina Simone McKinnor and Lawndale Mayor Robert Pullen-Miles are running in the April 5 special primary election to replace former Assemblymember Autumn Burke in the 62nd Assembly District and they both have ties to the California Legislative Black Caucus.
