Music icon Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins of the legendary girl group TLC and her daughter, Chase Rolison, are teaming up to give back to their community through fashion. In honor of the 20th anniversary of “Chase’s Closet,” the beloved boutique T-Boz founded in tribute to her daughter, Chase is launching Anela Vintage, an online boutique inspired by the fashion, music, and culture of the ‘90s and early 2000s.

To celebrate the launch and support victims of the recent devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, Anela Vintage will host a special pop-up event on Sunday, Jan. 26, from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. at 2520 Sunset Blvd. in Los Angeles. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the LA Fire Department Foundation to aid in relief efforts for families affected by the fires.

“As a longtime resident of L.A., I’ve seen firsthand how these fires have impacted so many lives,” said Chase. “I wanted to find a way to give back to the community while also sharing my passion for fashion. This pop-up is a dream come true, and I can’t wait for people to see my vision come to life.”

T-Boz expressed immense pride in her daughter’s philanthropic spirit and entrepreneurial drive. “I’m really proud of Chase for coming up with the idea to use her business to help her community,” she said.

“I raised her in L.A., and we have family and friends who have lost their homes. Most people love shopping—I know I do—so if you can shop for a good cause, that’s a win-win.”

The pop-up event will feature curated vintage pieces from Anela Vintage, offering shoppers a chance to purchase exclusive fashion finds while making a difference. Attendees can also expect a nostalgic nod to the iconic trends that defined the late ‘90s and early 2000s, a style era that continues to influence today’s fashion landscape.

T-Boz, known for her trendsetting style both on and off the stage, originally launched Chase’s Closet as a boutique for children’s fashion, which was frequented by Hollywood’s elite. Now, Chase is continuing the legacy by reimagining vintage fashion with a modern twist, all while using her platform for a meaningful cause.

For those unable to attend the pop-up, donations can be made and purchases can be explored at www.anelavintage.com.
