Los Angeles Sparks President & COO Christine Simmons has been named to the 2018 EBONY Power 100 list joining the likes of Steph Curry, Drake, James Harden, Venus Williams, Shonda Rhimes and Virgil Abloh. The EBONY Power 100 list recognizes household names as well as community leaders and change agents. This year’s list includes the categories Crusaders, Disruptors, Entrepreneurs and Innovators – women who have had made a significant impact in creating movements, changing culture and bettering society. Simmons was named to the “MVPs” category.

“I’m humbled and honored to be a part of such a prestigious list,” said Simmons. “This recognition is a testament to the commitment of the Los Angeles Sparks ownership group and the WNBA. I’m elated that EBONY is showcasing the efforts to lift women’s basketball to the national stage and bring these phenomenal athletes the platform they deserve.”
