Sherri Shepherd has landed herself a new gig. After being let go as co-host on popular daytime talk show “The View,” Shepherd is returning to her roots with a new role on TV Land’s “The Soul Man” with fellow cast mates Cedric the Entertainer and Nicey Nash. Shepherd will head to Hollywood to join the cast of the hit show after she finishes her stint on Broadway for “Cinderella” later this month. “The Soul Man” is familiar ground for Shepherd, who appeared on season 1 of the show in 2012 as cousin Nikki. For the fourth season of “The Soul Man,” reports eurweb.com. Season four of “The Soul Man” is set to premiere some time in 2015.
