On Thursday June 22, Shante Broadus, wife of musician Snoop Dogg, hosted a meet and greet event celebrating Snoop Doggie Dogg’s new line of pet apparel and accessories featured at the Healthy Spot in Marina Del Rey.
Guests were able to enjoy 20% off all Snoop Doggie Doggs merchandise, pup-tails for their pets, a goodie bag with treats as well as a signed bandana from Snoop Dogg himself. Snoop Doggie Doggs features many dog apparel such as sweatshirts, collars, toys, harnesses, as well as food bowls.
Broadus discussed with the Sentinel how Snoop Doggie Doggs came to fruition, “As a family, we have always had dogs/pets running around our homes, and animals have always held a special place in our hearts. When SMAC came to us with the idea to create a pet line, it made sense.
“Just look at my husband’s name… how can Snoop Dogg not have his own pet line? So as we continue to build our family empire it made sense that we create our own pet line as a family that reflected all of our personalities and styles.”

Shining a light on such a niche business sectors such as pet lines, she spoke about the importance of having brands like this, “Whenever we have the chance to bring more Black Owned businesses into new spaces, it’s an exciting and fulfilling opportunity. With Snoop Doggie Doggs we’ve had a chance to step into the world of pet wear, and bring representation to our community which is our goal.”
With this year being the kick off to Snoop Doggie Doggs, Broadus looks forward to the future of the line and what is to come, “After our successful launch in 2022, we’ve been able to expand into a bunch of new retail locations and help bring Snoop Doggie Doggs to the masses.
