Robert Yancy, the son of the late legendary singer, voice actress, songwriter, and actress Natalie King Cole, and Grammy-award winning record producer Marvin Yancy passed away at 39-years-old from a heart attack. His body was found in his San Fernando Valley apartment Tuesday morning August 15.
Yancy’s passing follows two years after his mother’s death in December 2015 leaving behind twin sister, Timolin and Casey Cole.
He shared a close bond with his mother, who remained “Unforgettable” to him and he stayed by her side in the hospital while she was battled cancer.
